For the second year, the Hernando County Fine Arts Council is presenting "A taste of Jazz" - a live jazz, food and art festival - taking place in the beautiful Weeki Wachee Springs State Park, Hernando County's own City of Live Mermaids on November 1 and November 2, 2008.
For two days, you will be entertained by Jazz musicians from around the region, you can sample a great variety of foods offered by outstanding area restaurants, and maybe even shop for a special hand crafted item made by local artisans.

Whether Greek, Thai, American, Mediterranean, or Pizza - you have many choices!
There is a low admission fee of $4 per person and a parking fee of $1 per car.
This includes entry to all the Weeki Wachee animal shows and special Mermaid performances such as Mermaids of Yesteryear, Jazz Tails, and of course, The Little Mermaid!

The Hernando County Fine Arts Council's mission statement is to promote and support all the creative arts in Hernando County and to provide a means to showcase the arts.
Weeki Wachee Springs is celebrating 61 years of family entertainment. The first show at the Weeki Wachee Springs underwater theater opened in October 1947! It truly is an enchanting show!
