Available waterfront building lots in Hernando Beach, Florida remain plentiful with a wide selection for buyers to choose from.

Currently, there are a total of 123 waterfront lots for sale in Hernando Beach, of these 52 are located on saltwater canals with direct Gulf access and 71 are located on freshwater or brackish canals that have indirect access to the Gulf of Mexico via a boat lift.

Hernando Beach Waterfront Building Lot Sales

Buyers have taken advantage of low pricing and waterfront lot sales are on the rise in Hernando Beach, Florida.  

From January through May 2016, a total of 18 vacant waterfront lots were sold ranging in sales price from $13,000 to $105,000 with an average sales price of $51,783 and a median sales price of $57,950. 

To put these waterfront lot sales numbers into perspective, during the same time period in 2015, only seven waterfront lots sold in Hernando Beach and only 23 waterfront lots sold total for the year 2015. 

With an additional four waterfront properties currently under contract, sales number for 2016 will exceed those of 2015 before the end of the month of June. 

While there is plenty of inventory, average and median sales prices are also beginning to rise.  Buyers currently still have a great selection of waterfront properties in all Hernando Beach neighborhoods at very competitive prices.  If sales activity continues to be strong through the end of the year, this may change as the best priced properties in the most desirable locations will be sold.
